White Kaolin Clay - Cosmetic Grade
Use this all natural kaolin clay for your handmade creations. Our cosmetic grade clay is great for hardening your bath fizzies and thickening cosmetic formulas.
Kaolin clay is a great ingredient for soap. Add it to melt & pour soap or cold process soap for a beautiful opaque color. As an added benefit, clays like these help absorb excess oil from skin without leaving it dry. You can use this clay for normal skin types as well as dry and sensitive skin.

DIRECTIONS:
When adding to a liquid base, you may need to mix this with a small amount of water or rubbing alcohol first. This prevents clumping when you add the clay to your base.
- Bath bombs & shower steamers: Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon clay per pound of mixture.
- Melt & pour soap: Mix 1 teaspoon of clay with about 1 tablespoon of isopropyl alcohol. Add slowly to your melted soap, stirring to blend it in.
- Cold process soap: Mix 1 teaspoon clay with 1 tablespoon of distilled water. Slowly add the mixture into your soap recipe.
- Face & body masks: As much as 75% of your recipe can be kaolin clay when making masks.
Always test your products to ensure they work properly. We recommend making a small test batch to see how your products perform.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, this clay has an indefinite shelf life. Keep out of reach from children and pets.

Shipping
All of our products are handmade and can take time to make. We try to keep an inventory of all of our products on hand at all times to allow us to ship out most orders the day they are received or the next day in the majority of cases, however a delay of 2-3 days or even a week can happen for new molds the first week they are released, popular molds that have been posted/shared in a large community causing a surge of demand, a large order with multiple copies of the same mold, etc. Our current processing time is 1-5 business days. It is very rare that any of our orders will take longer than a week to process, but if something comes up where your product will be delayed that long we will do our best to reach out and let you know the orders progress along the way! We use USPS for shipping, with most small orders going out as first class mail, usually arriving in 2-4 business days.
