The purchase of Sodium Hydroxide powder (caustic soda, NaOH, Lye) or Potassium Hydroxide (caustic potash, KOH, Lye) from Candle Cocoon, LLC means you automatically accept the following agreement.
From this point forward the product Sodium Hydroxide will be referred to as lye.
Lye will be used by you to make soap only.
Lye will not be resold.
You completely understand that lye is considered hazardous and can cause harm to your body or the body of others near you.
You understand that this lye is poisonous and can cause death if ingested.
You understand that lye will cause damage to your skin, eyes, or any other body part that it comes in contact with.
You understand that this product must be kept out of reach of children and pets.
You confirm that you are an adult, age 18 or above.
You have reviewed the MSDS Sheet pertaining to safe handling, usage, and disposal of this product.
You understand that water should never be added to lye or you will experience a "lye volcano". Lye should be slowly added to water in small amounts when preparing your lye solution for soap making.
You assume responsibility for using, storing, and disposing of this product properly, and do not hold Candle Cocoon, LLC liable for any harm or damage caused to you or anyone else who comes into contact with this product.
Shipping
All of our products are handmade and can take time to make. We try to keep an inventory of all of our products on hand at all times to allow us to ship out most orders the day they are received or the next day in the majority of cases, however a delay of 2-3 days or even a week can happen for new molds the first week they are released, popular molds that have been posted/shared in a large community causing a surge of demand, a large order with multiple copies of the same mold, etc. Our current processing time is 1-5 business days. It is very rare that any of our orders will take longer than a week to process, but if something comes up where your product will be delayed that long we will do our best to reach out and let you know the orders progress along the way! We use USPS for shipping, with most small orders going out as first class mail, usually arriving in 2-4 business days.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
"B grade" mold sales are final.
