NorthWood Distributing - Purple - Fluorescent Neon Pigment

Add a pop of neon color to your soaps, wax melts and other projects with our bright and bold fluorescent pigment powders! Our Fluorescent Purple powder is a beautiful shade of grape purple.

Available in 12 eye-catching colors. Blend different colors together to create an endless fluorescent color palette!

Fluorescent pigment powders are intended to be used in soap and craft projects. Our fluorescent pigments are excellent for melt & pour soap and CP soap.

Fluorescent powders are not approved for cosmetics, nail art, or for bath bombs. Check out our mica and cosmetic glitter if you are looking for colorants that are approved for cosmetics (approved uses will vary depending on the color).

Purple Fluorescent Pigment Powder

Our fluorescent powders are ethically and sustainably sourced, and are never tested on animals. See Data Sheets below for certifications.

  • Your choice of 1g, 25g or 100g jars.
  • Excellent to use in Melt & Pour Soap Bases or Cold Process Soap for a beautiful pop of color.
  • Make colorful, neon wax melts with these fluorescent powders! Not recommended for candles. For colorful candles, use our Candle Dye Chips instead.
  • Use our fluorescent powders for resin and other craft projects such as scrap booking, rubber stamping, painting and more.

Fluorescent powders are the brightest, most vibrant colors available. They will look vivid under normal light conditions, but under UV light they will fluoresce even brighter - creating a glowing effect! Note: Fluorescent powders are not the same as glow-in-the-dark pigments. Check out our Glow in the Dark Powders here.

TIPS: Test your final product to ensure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

NOTE: When used in a white soap base, the result will be more pastel compared to results you would get with a clear soap base.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark location.

SHELF LIFE: Indefinite

CAUTION: Fluorescent pigment powder is NOT approved for use in cosmetics or bath bombs. Fluorescent and neon pigments are intended for soap and craft projects only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not inhale. Consider wearing a dust mask while working with pigment powders.

Usage Recommendations

  • Cold Process (CP) Soap: 1–2 tsp. per pound of oils.
  • Melt & Pour (MP) Soap Base: ¼–½ tsp per pound of soap base.
  • Wax Melts: Use up to 2 tsp. of fluorescent powder per pound of C55 Wax to create neon wax melts. Note: pigment powders may not create as bright of a color once wax cools and hardens. The result will be most visible when the wax tarts are melted. You can use candle dye chips to color your wax. Dye chips and pigment powders can be used together to get different effects.

You may vary the amount of fluorescent pigment powder you use to lighten or darken the hue of your product. Use the amounts listed to achieve bright, rich colors without creating colored soap suds. Using too much color powder can cause staining. We recommend testing different measurements to find what works for you. We are not able to accept returns on our pigment powders. We suggest purchasing a 1g sample size of our colorants.

Shipping / Returns / Exchanges

All of our products are handmade and can take time to make. We try to keep an inventory of all of our products on hand at all times to allow us to ship out most orders the day they are received or the next day in the majority of cases, however a delay of 2-3 days or even a week can happen for new molds the first week they are released, popular molds that have been posted/shared in a large community causing a surge of demand, a large order with multiple copies of the same mold, etc. Our current processing time is 1-5 business days. It is very rare that any of our orders will take longer than a week to process, but if something comes up where your product will be delayed that long we will do our best to reach out and let you know the orders progress along the way! We use USPS for shipping, with most small orders going out as first class mail, usually arriving in 2-4 business days.

Since these are handmade items that are not made in bulk, Returns and Exchanges are generally not accepted, but please contact us at shop@michellescreationstx.com if you have a problem with your order.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

"B grade" mold sales are final.
